The 63rd Kawerau mountain race saw the Australian Pomona team secure a King and Queen double for the first time since the Trans-Tasman Challenge began in 1985.
Australian race favourite Ben Duffus secured his second title in Kawerau with a 49m 32s time. It was a time good enough to win by almost five minutes, ahead of Kiwi veteran Chris Morrissey (54m 34s).
Debutant Andrius Ramonas was third with a time of 54m 57s.
Trident High School student Luke Seufort was the first junior and fourth overall with an impressive 56m 10s, which is his best placing to date.
Meg Reeves, the Pomona Queen, added to that title with the Kawerau Queen on debut finishing in 1h 3m 13s, placing her 14th overall.
