Final preparations are underway at Muruika War Cemetery Ohinemutu for the Dawn Parade to mark Anzac Day.
The 101st anniversary of the Gallipoli landings by Anzac forces will once again be commemorated in Rotorua with two traditional services in the city.
People are starting to gather with the Dawn Service to get under way at 5.45am.
The service at Ohinemutu is set to start at 6am.
At 9am, a parade of service personnel, school parties, cadet corps and local community groups will leave the Lakefront intersection of Whakaue and Fenton Streets marching to the Sir Howard Morrison Performing Arts Centre.
