Lambs were a favourite at the day.

Lambs were a favourite at the day.

Mamaku School held its first mini field day earlier this month.

Pupils brought everything from goats and lambs to rabbits, cats and birds. The extra pets were brought to make up for not having calves at the field day.

The day included painting pet rocks, learning butchery skills, showing off their animals and making sand trays and animals from fruit. These photos were supplied by the school.
