The Affinity light installation in Rotorua's City Focus is closed for repairs after if suffered water damage during the recent heavy rain.

The art and light installation explores the effects of Alzheimer's on memories and was due to be on display until April 23.

Rotorua Lakes Council said it apologised for any inconvenience and hoped to have the installation up and running soon.

The council said the re-opening date and time would be posted on the Light Rotorua and the council Facebook pages.
