A charity auction and plenty of giveaways will also feature, with proceeds going towards the charity.
Rotorua Breast Cancer Trust chairwoman Sue Winters said she was overwhelmed by the generosity of event-organisers, who offered to donate some of the day's proceeds to the trust.
The trust supports Rotorua people and families who are affected by breast cancer by funding rehabilitation classes and offering financial support and one on one mentoring, among many other things.
She encouraged people to go along to the races and donate, as any money raised would go a long way to help those affected by cancer.
Mrs Winters said the event would also be a chance to have a fun day out.
Trac marketing and sponsorship manager Don Paterson said the event would not be short in entertainment.
With the Lion Red Plate upgraded to Group 3 level and increasing in stake money to $70,000, punters were certain to get a taste of high-quality horse racing, he said.
The day also boasts the Listed Agrodome Rotorua Plate for stayers, worth $50,000, and a series of other races.
Tickets for the Tickled Pink Cocktail Party are $85 including access to a premium lounge, lunch and beverages. Tickets are by pre-sale only, contact Racing Rotorua or online at trac.co.nz. General admission is free. Gates open at 10.30am.

Race to track and be in to win, fashion fans urged
Ladies, throw on some heels, slip into a frock and put on your best fascinator for this weekend's Fashions in the Field.
The annual event, which attracts fashionistas from across the region, will be held tomorrow at Arawa Park Racecourse, as part of the Rotorua Plate Day races.
Fashion enthusiasts have the opportunity to marvel at the series of colourful, creative and glamorous outfits on show at the event, which is in its fourth year.
The event will feature judges from the country's fashion industry or who have taken out top titles in previous Fashions in the Field competitions.
The winner of this year's event will go directly to the final of the prestigious Viva Prix de Fashion, held at Ellerslie in Auckland on February 28, where they will compete for a prize package worth more than $30,000.
The overall prize will include a trip for two to Melbourne and entry to Myer Fashions in the Field, Australia's top racing fashion competition, which is held during the 2015 Melbourne Cup Carnival.
Parrots on Hinemoa Women's Classic Racewear category is open to women over 18 and entries can be completed online at www.trac.co.nz or on the day.
Trac marketing and sponsorship manager Don Paterson said Fashions in the Field was a popular part of the Rotorua Plate Day race event and made for a wonderful day out.
"Fashions in the Field has always been a popular attraction on race day. It makes for a great spectacle," he said.
Mr Paterson said fashion had always gone hand-in-hand with horse racing, so combining both on one day made sense.
Free children's entertainment will also be on offer at the races.
"So come along, enjoy the fashion, enjoy the racing and entertainment, and have a great family day out."
