Whenua Patuwai fans will get the chance to see the X Factor New Zealand star perform in Rotorua.
The popular singer will be joining mentor, X Factor judge and Idol star Stan Walker on his upcoming World Tour of New Zealand. The tour, which begins in Rotorua, will also feature Rotorua's Turanga Merito, who has been working with both Patuwai and Walker as the vocal coach on X Factor New Zealand. Yesterday Patuwai released his debut single Something Special, now available on iTunes and available in stores from July 30.
The tour includes 23 shows around the country taking in some smaller towns like Edgecumbe. Walker said he was looking forward to getting back on stage as it was where he was "most comfortable". Walker's Rotorua show will take place on Wednesday September 4 at the Civic Theatre.
