It might say "Live" on the cover, but don't expect too many stadium anthems from these Icelandic alternative folksters.
In fact, the title of this first track, Slow and Steady, gives a better clue about the tracks on this iTunes exclusive EP - recorded at Syrland studio in Iceland without an audience.
Which is a pity because Of Monsters and Men have the potential to go to town and really get their "Mumford" on.
Only glimpses of this are evident - on the slow-building Dirty Paws and the highlight, the EP closer Six Weeks, on which they momentarily enter Arcade Fire territory.
The seven-track EP includes studio-live versions of six songs from the band's album, My Head Is An Animal, and a cover of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs Skeletons.
