We asked our readers to tell us where in Rotorua they have had great service during the past week.
Thumbs-up to Cafe Baraco at the new Fairy Springs Shopping Centre. Finally able to get a good coffee at that end of town.
Geyserland Bakery is wonderful. To put it simply, they are just amazing. They are always well presented with great service and their food is yum! Keep up the awesome work, guys.
Tumai at The Warehouse.
Debbie Fahy at the Hairdressing Academy has great service.
Kevin at Animates was fantastic. When I had to return a dog bed that the zip had failed on he replaced it straight away and couldn't have been nicer about it.
Two and a half years ago we bought - from the dealers - a Mitsubishi Wagon. We use it daily and it is a lovely vehicle which is economic, comfortable and reliable. I took it into the dealers on Fenton St a week ago on a manufacturer's recall, and I also asked that the front brakes be checked and new pads fitted and that the cam belt be checked. I had a call from the dealers half an hour later to say that the brakes didn't need replacing, but they had bled them instead. When I picked the car up it had also been cleaned. Everything had been done that I asked and I was not charged a penny. I greatly appreciated the service I got from Mitsubishi.
The lovely young lady at the Stihl shop. She was extremely helpful and friendly and all-round awesome.
The lovely ladies at Divine Beauty Within have the best service in town
Emma at Harvey Norman Rotorua delivers awesome service and went the extra mile.
All the wonderful staff at Palmers on Sala St. It was our first time setting up a vegetable garden and the staff were extremely helpful with the plants we should get at this time of year and where to plant them. Every question we asked was met with a smile and helpful information, would recommend Palmers to all gardeners, beginner or experienced.
Went out for brunch at Be Rude Not To cafe this week and had a pleasant experience. Ordered two meals off the menu and sat down. After about 15 minutes my meal arrived followed by an extensive apology to my partner whose meal order was written down wrong and would not be out for another 10 minutes. The poor waitress was very apologetic and was asking what she could do to make it up to us. Of course we said not to worry about it but was good to see such care in her service, not to mention the food was delicious.
