Top Kiwi reggae band 1814 will be performing in Rotorua as part of New Zealand Music Month this weekend.
Guitarist and vocalist Patu Colbert said the band were looking forward to coming back to the city to perform a one-off gig at Ngongotaha's Kahlah Bar tomorrow night.
Colbert said they would play material from their new album due for release in September. They would also play crowd favourites including Jah Rydem, Jah Rastafari and other songs from their covers album released late last year.
Colbert said they would play a two-hour set after support band, Tauranga's, 6TB. The concert kicks off at 8pm and costs $25 on the door.
1814 have performed their brand of Aotearoa reggae since 2004 and have travelled extensively throughout New Zealand and Australia. Colbert said they had recently returned from the Byron Bay Bluesfest.
