A woman has been found dead after falling off a quad bike in Marokopa today,

A police spokesperson confirmed emergency services were called to Rauparaha St shortly before 5pm.

Witnesses in the rural Waikato community reported seeing a person come off a quad bike.

Inquiries are ongoing and the Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
