The Hamilton Christmas Trust's annual celebrations wouldn't be complete without the renowned Christmas Parade, which is expected to attract up to 28,000 people into central Hamilton on Sunday, December 11.
A pre-parade will commence at 2pm in which the corporate clowns will hand out lollies to the children.
The corporate clowns include figures such as Michelle Bailey of SkyCity Hamilton, Dallas Fisher of Montana Catering, William Durning of Chamber of Commerce, Craig Tamblyn of Hospice Waikato, and MPs David Bennett and Tim Macindoe.
Although they all have very busy working lives, the clowns are happy to play their part in the celebrations each year and help bring happiness to the community in the holiday season.
The parade itself will follow, made up of up to 90 floats representing the variety of cultures and community groups that call Hamilton home.
