Te Awamutu Altrusa's postponed 26th Home and Garden Ramble will be going ahead on Sunday now that we are in level 2.
Organisers have assembled 14 fabulous homes and gardens to wander around and enjoy - you may have to choose which ones you would most like to see. They are spread from Te Awamutu through to Ngāhinapōuri and Pirongia.
The houses this year range from new builds, including the winner of the Waikato Master Builders' own build category, to a tiny house.
One of the highlights is Garth O'Brien's inner-city apartment in the old Women's Division of Federated Farmers club rooms, modelled on a gentleman's smoking lounge.
There is a wonderful selection of gardens, from Dulcie Coombes' amazing topiary to Josephine van der Poel's reclamation of a large bank on the farm that boasts mass plantings and spring-fed ponds.
