It is a fitting name for the next concert non Saturday focusing on some of Hamilton's finest guitar-driven acts — The Hollow Grinders, Contenders, and Deadly Sam and the Summertime Bandit.
Event organiser Lauren Kerr-Bell was thrilled with the public response to the first concert.
"There is always an element of risk in organising a public concert filled with experimentation and improvisation, but we were happy to see so many people attending and supporting the musicians."
Alongside Saw Wave is the Boon Hamilton Street Art Festival, with 10 walls being transformed with street art, the Hamilton Buskers Festival, another exciting new event earlier in the day filled with music, street theatre, poetry, and dance, and the latest Pecha Kucha event, with a range of fun and informative speeches on the topic of 'creative cities'.
PechaKucha (the Japanese word for 'chit chat') celebrates the unique stories we all have to tell. PechaKucha Nights Hamilton give a platform to a wide range of people, to speak on a diversity of topics.
The model sees presenters define their own topic, with each having just 20 seconds for each of 20 images.
Lauren says all the Super Saturday events have been carefully co-ordinated to ensure that no one misses out on any of the festivities.
"So bring along your dinner or some snacks, and check out some of Hamilton's finest bands on a weekend jam-packed with exciting creative events in the central city.
