With six weeks to go, Soundsplash 2018 is promising to deliver Raglan's best festival experience yet.
Joining Shapeshifter, Slumberjack, DUB FX, Katchafire, and the other artists announced earlier this year, are 21 more acts.
Soul queen Ladi6 is set to unleash her award-winning grooves, and P-Money will make his much-anticipated Soundsplash debut. UK DJ Ed Solo makes a welcome return to Raglan, while Brisbane indie rockers The Jungle Giants will also be jetting in.
Mitch James will be packing all his recent hits, and Thomas Oliver brings his distinctive blend of roots, soul and folk (along with his signature lap-steel guitar). Flowidus and Auckland's Racing, Brendon Thomas and The Vibes, Imagine This and Cian join the party, along with Whangarei band Otium, Christchurch's Yayné, Wellington's Uncle Silverback, and Napier's Iris Dunn. Rounding out the line-up is a selection of Raglan's finest including DJ Jamin-I, DJ Atmosphere, Dubsonic, B-Rex, King Macka & Jinja Cat, and DJ Adam Lai.
Keeping it local is a big part of the Soundsplash philosophy, as is an unwavering commitment to a sustainable future. Once again, the festival will be partnering with a number of environmentally-conscious organisations, among them Xtreme Zero Waste, Plastic Bag Free
Raglan and Karioi Maunga. Other initiatives include on-ground recycling and solar charging stations, and a use of repurposed materials throughout the site.
