Emergency services were called to the crash at the intersection of State Highway 47/SH4 about 7.30am.

Emergency services are at a crash involving multiple vehicles including a truck at National Park.

A police spokesman said they were called to the crash at the intersection of State Highway 47/SH4 about 7.30am and the road was partially blocked.

The crash involved a truck and two vehicles, he said.

A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said two people, one in a minor condition and one in a moderate condition, were taken to Taumarunui Hospital.

Another person in a minor to moderate condition was assessed and treated at the scene.

A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said two appliances from National Park and Ōwhango were at the scene.

No people were trapped, he said.

The route is currently a detour for the Desert Rd Tūrangi to Waiōuru road maintenance closure.
