"I have had a working relationship with Parent to Parent for the past four years and value the positive community outcomes they achieve for children with health impairments and their families," Grant said.
"Cooking demos give me the opportunity to support their good work and also satisfy my passion for food and cooking.
"The demos are aimed at learning new techniques and putting flavoursome menu options together. They are a lot of fun, interactive and also provide the opportunity to meet new food lovers while tasting the evening's dishes."
Parent to Parent spokesperson Sue Pairaudeau said the Cowies opening their kitchen up to 20 people every month was a huge commitment.
"We are extremely grateful for their generosity and support - this is well above the call of duty.
"Grant would know more than anyone how complex and time consuming it is to manage and apply for funds for Parent to Parent's national office and 11 regional offices, and he also sees the reality that donations nationwide are decreasing, while demand for our services increases."
