Imagine a story where Harry Potter meets Kylo Ren, gets sucked into a board game, battles an evil genius in a creepy castle with the help of Captain Fluffybutt and a sassy robot.
That's what happens when you have a group of 6-12-year-old students starring in a play, that they wrote — and directed — all by themselves! It's incredible what happens at a Marrzipan Holiday Workshop.
The best part? This is coming to the Meteor Theatre in Hamilton from January 23 to 25.
Marrzipan is a revolutionary new teaching method, with the mission to increase self-confidence in children in New Zealand through the fun and excitement of drama.
These classes run throughout the term at approximately 100 schools across New Zealand, exploring themes such as eye contact, public speaking, body language, voice projection and facial expressions - all valuable life skills – through their hilarious, original, moral-based scripts.
