The sounds of multiple ukuleles and joyful singing was ringing around Kihikihi on Tuesday, January 19.
It was the first Kihikihi Ukulele Club night for 2021 and the first anniversary of the formation of the club.
Co-ordinator Angela Brown said the club was grateful to the Kihikihi Bowling Club for providing a wonderful venue for 2020.
However, due to the growth of the club a new home has been found in the Anglican Church Hall across the road.
Forty people of all ages from Kihikihi and Te Awamutu and all around the region, including Te Kuiti, Cambridge, Morrinsville and Ōhaupō, attended the first club night.
