H & M, Hennes & Mauritz AB, the international fashion retailer known for fashion in a sustainable way has announced that its first Hamilton store will open in Chartwell Shopping Centre on July 18.

It will be H&M's seventh store in New Zealand following openings in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Tauranga. Spanning approximately 1700 sqm, the much-anticipated store will provide a unique shopping experience for customers showcasing apparel and accessories for men, women, youth, kids and babies.

"We are excited to be able to announce the opening date for our first Hamilton store," said Daniel Lattemann, country sales manager for H&M New Zealand.

"Chartwell Shopping Centre is a great location for H&M and we look forward to presenting a truly international shopping experience to customers in the area."

H&M entered the New Zealand market in 2016. Today there are six stores nationwide — Sylvia Park, Commercial Bay and Botany Town Centre in Auckland, The Crossing in Christchurch, Queensgate in Wellington, and Tauranga Crossing.
