The wastewater pipe which was damaged on Sunday afternoon has been fixed.
The pump station is now back in operation and the vacuum trucks are no longer required.
Residents of several streets in the Hamilton suburb of Glenview are asked to still be mindful of their wastewater discharges as the council monitor the repairs after a landslip damaged a main pipe.
Hamilton City Council's City Waters Manager Maire Porter said about 200 properties are affected by the issue, caused by a slip in the Mangokotukutuku Gully.
The slip has damaged what is termed an aerial wastewater rising main – a large wastewater pipe running above the ground – which transfers wastewater from the Bruce Ave pump station.
