Christmas festivities continue in Hamilton on Sunday with the First Credit Union Christmas Parade a must-see for the young and young at heart.

The festival fantasy will feature more than 80 floats parading along Anglesea Street.

This year's parade features colourful floats representing the unique communities of Hamilton. Look for some new entries from local businesses and organisations — including Hamilton Dental Centre.

Look for the Mrs Claus Kitchen float by sponsor Volare — the handcrafted sourdough bread people. They have been busy perfecting an extra large loaf of bread at their Frankton bakery to feature on the float. Also, an oversized turkey — but we're not sure if that one is actually edible.

Join in to see crazy characters, lively marching bands, dance group, ethnic groups, characters, balloons, and of course Santa Claus.

The parade starts at the corner of Rostrevor and Anglesea Streets, travels down Anglesea Street, and ends at the corner of Anglesea and Knox Streets.

The length of the route is 1.2km. The parade starts at 3pm with pre-parade entertainment from 2.15pm.
