The fifth studio album for Cole, Woman to Woman, has anthem after anthem for those jilted by a lover. You can picture a woman crying her eyes out over how her partner had done her so wrong, listening to the words in the songs and possibly singing along ... just like in the movies.
This is exactly how I imagine this album being listened to.
Right from the first track, this theme is strong throughout the album.
It's filled with "I'm too good for you anyway/you treated me like crap/I'm better than your new girlfriend" type of songs. However, there is the odd love song there, too.
