I recently went on a three-hour car ride with Frank Ocean's Channel Orange as my album of choice ... and I loved every moment of it.
Frank Ocean is the man of the moment - he's an amazing songwriter, has perfect vocals and he's out and proud.
Actually, many of his songs embrace his sexuality and it's super refreshing.
His album isn't filled with club anthems or dance tracks. Instead, it has focused on talent - lyrics and vocals - and is best heard while lying back and taking it all in.
You can hear hints of Stevie Wonder brilliance on tracks including Pyramids, and his amazing vocal control and range can be heard especially in the track Pink Matter. Pink Matter is my ultimate favourite on the album - no matter how many times I have that song on repeat it doesn't get old, boring or lose any sense of amazingness to me.
