The shooting of 29-year-old twin Australian sisters at a Colorado gun range continues to puzzle investigators.
Family of the pair are flying from Australia to the US, to determine which one is dead and which one survived.
The most curious aspect of the incident is that it is almost certain no third party was involved.
Both women were shot in the head, one of them dying instantly.
The other was in critical but stable condition at a local Medical Centre, unable to talk to investigators or shed any light on the mystery.
The women are from the state of Victoria. Both were in the US on cultural exchange visas. One sister had been due to return to Australia today, AP reported.
