Italy has blocked the sale of two luxury yachts to North Korea believed to be destined for the country's leader Kim Jong Il in a potential breach of international sanctions, the Financial Times said.
The paper said a €12.5 million ($27.48 million) sales contract for the yachts was terminated this month after an investigation by Italy's Ministry of Economic Development and the country's anti-fraud police.
