Wednesday: Northeast 25 knots but 15 knots through Foveaux Strait, rising to 35 knots east of the strait in the morning. Easing to variable 10 knots through the strait but northeast 25 knots in the east in the evening. Sea becoming very rough for a time in the east. Southwest swell 2 metres easing. Northeast swell 2 metres developing.

Thursday: Variable 10 knots but northeast 20 knots east of Slope Point to Shelter Point. Becoming variable 10 knots everywhere in the morning. Southwest swell becoming moderate. Moderate northeast swell easing.

Friday: Northwest 10 knots, becoming northeast 25 knots early. Changing southwest 30 knots later. Sea becoming rough. Moderate southwest swell.

Saturday: Southwest 30 knots, easing to westerly 20 knots late. Rough sea easing. Moderate southwest swell.
