The New Zealand Breakers have terminated Corey Webster's contract with the club.
The move followed Webster's second positive test for a banned substance, and resulting 12-month suspension imposed by the Australian Sports Commission.
Webster was contracted for the 2011-12 and the 2012-13 ANBL seasons.
The 22-year-old guard tested positive for synthetic cannabis product Kronic after an away fixture against the Perth Wildcats on April 10.
It was an over-the-counter-product at the time he was found guilty of using it.
