SANZAR believe they have the answer for the disappointing crowd numbers at this year's Super Rugby matches.
Near-empty stadiums were the norm at New Zealand fixtures in 2011.
However, SANZAR CEO Greg Peters says there are many reasons why people have chosen to stay at home.
Peters says you have to take this year in isolation.
He says the Christchurch earthquake, terrible weather and the fact people have spent a lot of money on World Cup tickets are all key elements.
Greg Peters says you also can't shy away from the fact that if your team performs poorly, crowd numbers will drop.
