The West Indies require 158 to win the rain-affected second one-day cricket international against New Zealand off 28 overs and take a 1-0 series lead at AMI Stadium here tonight.
New Zealand made 152 for eight after finally resuming their innings after a four-hour rain delay. Jesse Ryder top scored with 32 while right arm pace bowler Fidel Edwards was the most successful bowler with three for 26 from six overs.
The West Indies total was revised upwards after the Duckworth-Lewis method was applied to compensate for the disrupted start to New Zealand's innings.
The West Indies need to score at 5.64 runs per over to match the asking rate.
