New Zealand swimmer Melissa Ingram has scored a 400m freestyle silver medal at the World Cup short course meet in Sweden today.
It is her second medal of the meet, having won the 200m backstroke gold yesterday in Stockholm.
Ingram, 23, was narrowly beaten by Olympic 800m freestyle medallist Lotte Friis of Denmark today.
Ingram was one second behind, clocking four minutes 03.77 seconds, just outside the national record she set at the Sydney World Cup.
So far Ingram has picked up eight victories and five second placings in World Cup races.
With the final round at Berlin at the weekend, she is lying fourth overall in the World Cup rankings.
