Rugby: Crusaders to play in London?

A Crusaders Super Rugby game in London and Auckland remains on the cards.

AMI Stadium is unavailable due to the earthquake with engineers assessing the damage to see if the stadium will be fixed during the Crusaders campaign.

CEO Hamish Riach says they have some potentially exciting commercial opportunities but also need to include their own franchise partners.

He says they hope to play a game in Timaru.

The Crusaders host the Brumbies in Nelson on Friday.
