A man alleged to have illegally downloaded blockbuster films at his internet cafe before they were released has been ordered to surrender his passport.
Yongming Nie, 42, appeared in the Auckland District Court yesterday on more than 20 copyright charges and was remanded to appear again on December 22.
Movies he is alleged to have downloaded before they were released include the latest James Bond, Quantum of Solace.
