KEY POINTS:
A young motorcyclist died last night when his machine collided with a bus in Auckland city.
Police today said the victim was an 18-year-old Glen Eden man, who will not be named until relations in Australia had been informed.
The man's 150cc motorcycle hit the bus in Blockhouse Bay about 8pm.
Roads were closed and diversions were organised while the serious crash unit investigated.
He was the 39th motorcyclist to be killed on New Zealand roads this year.
