The new look Northern Mystics will open next year's ANZ netball Championship with a mouth-watering home match against the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
The draw for next season has been confirmed, with the competition starting two weeks earlier on March 20th, presumably to fit in all the sport's commitments before the Commonwealth Games in October.
Round one also sees the defending champion Melbourne Vixens play host to the Magic in a rematch of this year's semifinal while the Steel will host the Fever in Invercargill and there will be an all-New Zealand clash in Christchurch with the Tactix playing the Pulse.
The successful rivalry round has been retained, with the round of all transtasman matches to be held in week 11.
