There's good news and bad news for Death Cab For Cutie fans - the indie-rockers have announced plans to play their first ever New Zealand show.
But the bad news is they're only playing one show here as part of the New Zealand International Arts Festival in Wellington.
The quartet, led by front man Ben Gibbard, will play the Wellington Town Hall on February 29. They have released seven albums, including last year's acclaimed Codes and Keys.
Festival Artistic Director Lissa Twomey said she was "thrilled" to announce the show.
"Like our Town Hall megastars, Bon Iver, these musicians have captured international attention and a fiercely loyal fan base with their distinctive sound."
