Iconic duo Simon and Garfunkel are set to kick off their 2009 tour in New Zealand in June.
The duo will perform at Auckland's Vector Arena on June 13 before heading across the ditch to tour Australia, Chugg Entertainment executive chairman Michael Chugg announced.
"We're the first and only territory in the world that Simon and Garfunkel have confirmed concerts for," Chugg said.
"It's been 25 years since they've been here and I'd put money on the table this will likely be the last time for us with these two legends together.
"This is probably a twice in a lifetime chance, but the last time you'll get to take it I'd say."
Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, who last toured New Zealand and Australia in 1983, have sold more than 40 million albums in the US alone, received five Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale at midday on April 6, ahead of a general release through Ticketmaster on April 17.
Prices range between $99 and $369, according to the Ticketmaster website.
