With almost a decade on the road behind them, The Datsuns are revving up the tour bus again for another jaunt around their homeland. Expect unrelenting, uncompromising rock 'n' roll, taking in everything from their debut album through to latest album Headstunts.
The Datsuns will be joined by An Emerald City and The Randoms on the April jaunt which starts at the Leigh Sawmill on April 9, then it's on to Auckland's Montecristo Room, April 10; the Raglan Town Hall, April 11; and Hamilton's Altitude, April 16. For full tour dates go to www.thedatsuns.com
Meanwhile, singer and guitarist Tony Joe White - long known as the Swamp Fox because of the style of music he plays - is heading back to New Zealand in April for four dates around the North Island. Joining him is former Cold Chisel guitarist-songwriter Ian Moss. White and Moss play Auckland's Powerstation, April 22; Clarence Street Theatre, Hamilton, April 23; Municipal Theatre, Napier, April 24; and the Front Room in Wellington, April 25.
