KEY POINTS:
It was deemed "too sexy for Coldplay's recent album, but a track by Kylie Minogue and Coldplay has been released to support charity. The song - titled Lhuna - has been released on (RED) WIRE, an online magazine which supports Aids/HIV projects in Africa.
The song was recorded in May, while Coldplay were making their latest album, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends.
Minogue and Coldplay singer Chris Martin share vocals on the sultry track, which Martin said was "too sexy" to be included on the band's latest album.
It was released to coincide with World Aids Day on December 1 alongside recordings by Jay-Z, The Dixie Chicks, The Police, Elvis Costello and Sheryl Crow.
