Two teenagers have been badly beaten with baseball bats and metal pipes after they were attacked by a gang of teens on Cronulla Beach in southern Sydney, the SMH reported.
The pair, aged 18 and 17, were at South Cronulla beach about 8.30pm last night when they were approached by a group of up to 12 armed teenagers, police told the newspaper.
An argument broke out, with members of the gang producing baseball bats and metal pipes.
The 18-yr-old was struck a number of times, suffering suspected fractured eye sockets and a broken jaw.
