Armed police are conducting a series of raids across Auckland this morning.
The raids are linked to a robbery last week in the Waikato town of Kihikihi, near Te Awamutu, police spokesman Andrew McAlley told nzherald.co.nz
He said search warrants were being executed and the situation was still very "fluid".
Police said because the people who robbed the motorbike shop were armed, armed police were needed to clear the addresses.
Paramedics are on standby at the scene in case of "any unforeseen medical issues".
Last Wednesday police arrested a man in relation to the robbery, following another armed offenders squad callout.
The man is facing robbery charges after the stand-off that saw police establish an armed cordon around a house in the north of the town.
