Courier woes
I recently purchased an item online. The parcel was posted. I waited and waited - nothing arrived so I tracked the parcel which was apparently delivered to my address by the courier.
When I was out, the courier apparently left a card to tell me to pick the item had arrived and to pick it up. I never received the card and consequently never picked the parcel up. By the time I tracked the parcel, NZ Post said it was on the way back to the sender.
I emailed the sender and apparently they had delivered the parcel and it wasn't worth my while to pay for them to post the parcel back. I complained that I had paid for my parcel and I never received a card to tell me it was there. I was told the couriers had left a card and it may have blown away and it was up to me to track it.
I explained I had waited and waited for it to arrive as I was unaware it had been delivered as the sender said it sometimes takes weeks. I asked why wasn't it put in my letterbox or under my mat at the door? Another person there at the time said it has happened to him as well. How many other people have had this problem?
