Last year it was the artists from Whakatane and Te Puke who visited one another's galleries.
This year it's their artwork.
Members of Te Puke Art Society and Whakatane Society of Arts and Crafts had exchange visits to one another's premises last year and this year each group's work will be exhibited at the other's gallery.
Whakatane club treasurer Rodney Thompson and member Jacob Larsen brought 66 pieces of work to Te Puke last week and it will be on display this coming weekend at Constables Gallery in Commerce Lane. The gallery will be open from 9am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Te Puke Art Society president Necia McKinley says the idea to hold the exhibition was a natural extension of the exchange visits last year.
