A 59-year-old woman has been killed after a quad bike rolled on top of her at a kiwifruit orchard.
A spokesman for Worksafe NZ confirmed the organisation had been notified of the accident at a Waihi Beach orchard on Friday afternoon.

He said investigators had been to the scene and early indications were that the worker was using a quad bike on sloping ground and it rolled on top of her.
Inquries were continuing.
Police and the fire service confirmed they were called to a property in Athenree just after 3pm on Friday afternoon after a report of a missing female.
The woman was later located on the property under a quad bike and found to be deceased.
