A severe weather watch has been issued for Western Bay of Plenty as heavy rain is expected for the region tomorrow.
MetService have warned 80 to 120mm of rainfall is expected to pass over the region from Saturday morning to the evening.
MetService have forecast the heaviest downpour for Tauranga will be about 12pm tomorrow.
Rain looks to ease into the afternoon and only a few showers is expected for Sunday.
