A water main has broken on Ohauiti Rd.
A Tauranga City Council spokesman said properties between 65 Ohauiti Rd and the Poike Rd intersection would be without water.
He said an early estimate indicated the water outage will last for the next three to four hours.
All properties off Sapphire Dr will also have lower water pressure than normal.
