Two quakes within a minute of each other near White Island

Two small quakes within a minute of each other have been recorded off the coast of White Island.

GeoNet registered a magnitude 2.8 quake at 3.03pm and another 2.9 shake at 3.04pm.

Both quakes were recorded 10km northwest of White Island.
