A Tauranga man accused of being involved in an "unprovoked" street attack on three people, which left another man with facial fractures, is heading to trial.
Damien Charlie Anderson, 28, denied one charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and two charges of common assault when he appeared in Tauranga District Court today for a bail hearing.
Police allege Anderson was involved in an "unprovoked" assault on two men and a woman in Harrow Place near Bayfair between 9.30pm and 10pm on December 28.
Others allegedly involved in the same incident are still be sought, police say.
Anderson was granted bail on strict terms, including not communicating with the complainants and a list of other people. He is also a banned from going to a number of addresses.
