Tens of thousands of EasyVote cards were sent out to Bay of Plenty and Tauranga voters last week and people who have not received their pack are being urged to check their enrolment status now.
Enrolments close on Friday - the day before election day - and returning officers fear potential eligible voters will miss out.
In total 89,768 EasyVote cards were sent out to Bay of Plenty and Tauranga voters and 7217 to electors on the Maori Waiariki roll who also reside within both electorates.
Tauranga electoral office registrar Lesley Christophers said there had been a run on people asking about advance voting including lots who say they would be out of the country on election day.
So far 226,918 people have voted early within New Zealand.
