The hunt is on for the next voice to hit Tauranga airwaves.

Tauranga Village Radio is looking for more announcers.

The radio station broadcasts from Tauranga Historic Village and has about 400 regular listeners.

The role requires a love of music, a warm 'radio' speaking voice and being able to give six to eight hours' time a month.

Training will be given.
