Doggy paddle will be the preferred swim stroke at Te Puke Pool on Saturday.
With the pool closing to human swimmers for the winter tomorrow, on Saturday it will be opened up to the district's canines with the third Dogs N Togs event.
Te Puke Pool manager Liz Milsom says both the previous events have been hugely successful.
Pooches of any size, shape, breed and swimming ability can go along for a day full of fun.
There's a fancy dress competition with the theme Dogs N Togs and races for small, medium, large and, if there are any, extra large dogs.
